Driving North on the N3 from the direction of Durban/Pietermaritzburg, take the Howick North/Tweedie off-ramp & turn left towards Tweedie. At the T-Junction 1km further on, turn right on to the R103 & keep going towards Nottingham Road for about 18kms. Landmarks to pass are the Lions River Cash store, Piggly Wiggly (on the left) and St. Ives on the right. Lidgetton Village is next (on the left) & then you will see signs for the Glass Studio. Keep going for another 2kms & watch out for signs to Midlands Lumber & Swissland Cheese. Turn left over the railway and then turn immediately LEFT - following the signs to Midlands Lumber for about 400m.

Coming South on the N3 towards Durban, take the Nottingham Road off-ramp & turn right towards Nottingham Road. Landmarks to pass are the Blueberry Hill centre with Viva Voce and LeatherWorx on your left; 8kms further on you will see the Gowrie Village estate on the left, with the Meander Square & Jardines cafe directly opposite. You will then come to a junction, at which you may turn right to go into Nottingham Road - DO NOT DO THIS - keep straight on, heading for Balgowen, Lions River and Howick on the R103. You will drive past the Gowrie Golf course on your left, Jim Green Shoes on the right, Lavender Trout on the left and then Michaelhouse School on your right. About 5kms further on, look for the Midlands Lumber and Swissland Cheese signs and turn right over the railway and then turn immediately LEFT - following the signs to Midlands Lumber for about 400m.
